![]() Brian was always up for an adventure, whether it was taking flying lessons or deciding to learn Spanish in order to communicate with co-workers better. His favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing and had a passion for animals. Brian loved the country and enjoyed being with his friends, who meant the world to him. After a short career working on the wind towers, Brian returned back to Murdo where he continued working for Miller-Mathews as a ranch hand until his last days. Brian enjoyed spending his days off from the wind towers helping many of the local ranchers in the Jones County area. After attending college Brian worked for Barnhart, traveling the country building wind towers. After Brian graduated from Jones County High in 2006, he attended Black Hills State University for one year before transferring to South Dakota State. His senior year of football was one of his proudest moments because the team had made it to the 3rd round of the playoffs (something no team in Jones County history had ever done). Growing up, Brian enjoyed spending time with his family outdoors fishing because it gave him time to explore.Īs Brian began to start high school he fell in love with the sport of football as you could tell by the heart he displayed on the field.
